Interesting perspective! Women do wield a lot of power within the modern Democratic Party. No doubt about it. On the other hand, the Dems nominated an old white guy who stood accused of being grabby (or worse) with countless women and girls. There are limits to their feminism! But then they get to choose which allegations "matter", as always.

The tricky thing is that progressives don't necessarily have a theory of ends; they're just constantly agitating "going forward." Which makes it hard to separate genuine evolutions toward that ever-receding goal from simple hypocrisy.

Ha! Nice way to put it. I guess you're right, though: to be "hypocrites", they'd have to believe in some kind of moral absolutes, which they don't. They believe in "progress", and anything that gets in its way must be destroyed.
